While trying to enhance my lashes after extensions, I mostly went for natural products. Firstly, I tried home methods. Then, I reached for eyelash serums and searched for the natural ones. I focused on safety. That’s why I got Lashfood serum. I aimed at restoring lash condition. Now I know I can have amazingly long lashes thanks to e.g. Nanolash but I didn’t know it then. Lashfood seemed to be a good option.

Lashfood serum comes in an aesthetic, white packaging. When I use the brand’s products, they always make me think of pharmaceuticals. Such products always come with high quality. They’re supposed to help us solve problems – also with the eyelashes. I bought Lashfood serum online. It costs a lot in comparison to other eyelash serums. For example, my beloved Nanolash is cheaper than Lashfood.

Let me mention what’s inside the white bottle.

The formula is colorless and fluid. A standard brush is used for the application. No surprises. Lashfood was the first serum I tested so I didn’t know how to use such applicators the right way. Applying a product around the eye area and using a thin brush was quite challenging for me. To make things worse, Lashfood comes with a brush which is much thinner than eyeliner brushes. You must get the hang of using it and applying the serum to the lash base, which is crucial.

Phyto-Medic Complex is the main ingredient. It’s a revolutionary set of herbal extracts. The serum aims at repairing the lashes from the roots and delivering the hydration. There are a few extra substances e.g. lavender water for refreshing; adenosine for rejuvenation; arginine for protection; peony for nourishing. There’s also a set of proteins, including rice and soy proteins. Very natural ingredients combined with nano-peptide technology – two in one.

I liked the product when I read about it. At first I was angry with the difficult application. It was because of the micro-thin brush which should have a few extra bristles. After some time, I got the hang of applying the products to the eyelash base. The serum was instantly absorbed. It never dripped into my eyes which happened with other serums. I was systematic and always precisely removed makeup before the usage. Still, it didn’t help…

Lashfood serum didn’t deliver the effects I had bargained for. Back then, strengthening the lashes was all I wanted. I didn’t even think about the extension effects because there were no lashes to extend. I had gaps in the eyelash line. Since the serum was supposed to affect the bulbs, I hoped it would stimulate the growth of new lashes. Regrettably, the enhancer failed. To make things worse, I used up the 3ml bottle after just four weeks. It’s shocking. Such a capacity usually lasts for several months.

GRANDELASH-MD eyelash enhancing serum

My eyelashes were wrecked. I went for Grandelash – an eyelash serum advertised as an infallible product. I wanted to bring back the health of my eyelashes after falsies. I just hoped they would look the way they did before applying fake lashes. I was afraid it wouldn’t work. Now I know my natural lashes can be as long as the falsies. It’s thanks to Nanolash serum – my favorite and top lash product. I didn’t know it when I started using serums. Tempted by the promises, I chose Grandelash..

Grandelash serum is packed in a funny cardboard box with pink flowers. The bottle is smaller than in most products and the serum has a capacity of just 2 ml. The tube has a golden color and doesn’t look elegant. I liked such a design when I used it. My taste has changed. I’ve tested lots of products and know that a lash serum may look stylish and good. Just like Nanolash. I’m not going to give up on it.

Moving on to the application… it’s troublefree.

The small bottle looks bad but it’s handy. You apply the serum with a long, thin applicator brush which allows the product to reach the bulbs. I’ve never had any problems with such applicators. Too bad, my Grandelash serum was faulty. I can’t believe there’s a brush which loses bristles, especially such a small and precise brush. This is what happened to me. Luckily the applicator didn’t lose all of the bristles because I would have a problem applying the serum to the lash base. An applicator is the most important.

Grandelash serum has gone through clinical tests and hasn’t shown any side effects. Sadly, I came across some unpleasant surprises and had to buy hydrating drops, even though I used the serum following the instructions – applied it to the lash line only. I made sure the product didn’t get into the eyes. Still, my eyes felt extremely dry. Looking off, I know I didn’t get enough sleep these days and that was the reason… I used the serum up, applying it together with moisturising drops.

The brand brags about natural and alcohol-free ingredients. I’ve never heard of an alcohol-infused lash serum so I think it’s nothing extraordinary. Grandelash-MD serum is free of chemicals or pigments. It’s harmless. The enhancer is made up of many natural conditioning substances. Grapeseed, ginseng, yeast, bearberry extracts etc. There’s also a moisturising glycerol, panthenol, vitamin E and others. The list is long and varied. I’m not sure if it’s a good thing. I prefer products with fewer ingredients.

Eventually… the effects. Nothing to wonder about. Grandelash serum didn’t bring desired effects on my eyelashes. I’m not saying it’s the product’s fault. It might have been caused by the horrible state of my lashes. Grandelash proved to be too weak for me. I didn’t notice eyelash extension, volume, darkening or growth. Surely it doesn’t give the fake lashes effect. No wonder I kept on searching for an alternative.

Why I recommend it?

Grandelash serum is based on a full set of natural ingredients.
The alcohol-free product is rich in good substances.
The serum has been clinically tested.
The application isn’t problematic.

Why I don’t recommend it?

The list of ingredients is too long and varied.
Grandelash isn’t housed in a nice tube.

DABALASH professional eyelash enhancer

I tested Dabalash serum shortly after taking fake lashes off. I had to save my eyelashes and wanted fast effects. I wanted to make my lashes both stronger and longer. It was a long time ago and I can’t remember how I got the serum. I probably ordered it online. It’s available on the Internet. I’m not sure if I bought it on the product’s website.

I don’t remember why I decided to buy Dabalash. These were my beginnings with the lash care. I didn’t know how to tell a good lash serum from the one of the poorer quality. Dabalash seemed fine. Now I know that Nanolash is much more effective due to the quality, ingredients, formula. Dabalash isn’t a popular eyelash growth serum. It’s hard to find its reviews online. That’s why I wonder why it got into my hands. It must have been an aggressive ad or clicking on the side banner accidentally.

Dabalash is an eyebrow and eyelash enhancer. The info is clear on the website. There’s something more the manufacturer emphasizes. The serum is suitable both for women and men. Those who want to have longer and healthier natural eyelashes. I guess it’s a good idea. I like men who have nice lashes because their eyes seem sexier. I think few men are going to try the serum, though. I know them. Lash serums and mascaras seem too feminine to them.

Dabalash is used just once a day, similarly to other serums.

It’s applied to clean skin after a precise makeup removal. I admit that I didn’t pay much attention to that back then. I always removed makeup products but I didn’t always do it thoroughly. Dabalash is easy to apply to the lashes. The enhancer is colorless and fragrance-free. It doesn’t leave any residue. It doesn’t drip into the eyes. No one is going to have problems with applying it to the upper lash line.

I tried using the serum for my eyebrows, too but I gave up the idea quickly. I was discouraged by the application. The thin brush is good for applying the fluid serum to the lash base yet it’s too tiny for covering the brows. Dabalash may have created two versions with different applicators.

I must mention the packaging, too. Dabalash is likely to be the only eyelash serum that comes in a pink cardboard box. Looking through the product’s website now, I have mixed feelings. I didn’t use to see it that way. Now, I look at the tasteful, black, luxury Nanolash tube every day. This pink and white Dabalash is simply tacky. It looks like a kids product and costs a lot. Today, I wouldn’t pay even 1/3 of the price.

Especially when I think of the effects… Dabalash promises to stimulate the growth of eyelashes. The formula is said to be devised in the best cosmetic labs but it’s just a theory to me. I didn’t see stunning results. The serum didn’t make my lashes nicer, longer or healthier. They looked the same. I must have made myself believe it worked…

Why I recommend it?

Dabalash is very easy to use, just once a day.
It doesn’t drip into the eyes or leave any residue.
The serum has a clear and scentless formula.
It’s a unisex product.
Dabalash enhancer can be applied to the eyebrows.

Why I don’t recommend it?

A very high price is inadequate to the effects.
The product’s bottle is tacky and poor-quality.
Dabalash isn’t popular among women.

NEULASH eyelash enhancing serum

Neulash is one of the first lash enhancing serums I’ve had. Right after taking falsies off, my natural lashes looked awful. They were barely visible. I noticed gaps in the lash line. I wrote about it in the intro. Here’s the answer to the question about Neulash effectiveness. It didn’t help me. It might have been the fault of the product or the truly bad condition of my lashes.

I really, really, really like the design of Neulash. Only Nanolash has a nicer and comfier tube but Nanolash is my unquestioned favorite in all respects. Neulash enhancing serum is housed in a solid, metallic bottle and it’s available in two versions. The first one holds 3.2 ml whereas the other one is almost twice as big – 6 ml. I chose the 3 ml version. It’s cheaper and handier.

A small and handy brush is designed for the application ad it isn’t much different from the ones found in other serums. A regular eyeliner brush… Looking off, I have an observation. Neulash has a much stiffer brush which is a bad thing because you can easily scratch or damage the eye area. Your hand shakes a bit and you have a problem. I scratched my nose at least twice during the use. You must be careful.

Neulash growth serum has a quite rich composition and that was what made me buy the product. An effective combination of amino acids is supposed to help enhance your natural lashes. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for the hydration. Plus for the vitamins, biotin and panthenol. Moisturising and nourishing ingredients (e.g. natural extracts: comfrey allantoin and pumpkin seed) are responsible for the lash shine. Generally, there’s nothing I could pick on – obviously, in case of the composition.

I started testing Neulash after I got disappointed with other products. I was beginning my adventure with lash growth serums and bought Neulash on a special offer. I can’t remember the price now but the regular price is too high. It’s one of the most expensive eyelash serums. Knowing its effects, I wouldn’t buy it again. Not for this price.

On my eyelashes, Neulash delivered poor effects.

At first, I felt like totally giving the product up. I saw a red line around my eyes as if the brush had set a path. Neulash must be applied reasonably. It’s not good if you spread the serum onto the larger area. I did it. I wasn’t careful enough during first days of use and the product didn’t get where it should have. This resulted in a slight redness. You must be very careful and precise. There are lots of serums which are easier to apply e.g. my favorite Nanolash which doesn’t trigger any irritations.

Why I recommend it?

Neulash has one of the best tubes on the market.
The elegant and durable bottle houses a handy brush.
The serum has a very rich and well-designed composition.
It’s enriched with natural extracts and nutrients.

Why I don’t recommend it?

You must be very careful and precise while applying the product.
Neulash benefits aren’t as spectacular as the other serums’ effects.
The applicator is stiff and uncomfortable.

LILASH purified eyelash growth serum

I didn’t plan on buying this serum. A friend who lives abroad visited me. She knew about my lash problems after wearing falsies and she gave me Lilash. I was happy cause the price isn’t low, especially when you want to buy a 5.91 ml bottle instead of the 2.95 version. The expense may leave your wallet slimmer. I paid a lot for previous products which obviously were ineffective.

To me, Lilash is similar to Revitalash. It has a very similar silver bottle with dark writing. Only a black binding makes it different. The sizes are slightly different, too. Generally, I’ve spotted there’s a tendency towards silver serum bottles. Only my current favorite – Nanolash – has a completely different bottle. Every brand should have a characteristic feature. Maybe Lilash wanted to copy from Revitalash. The enhancer has a good-quality tube and luckily there was no problem with it.

An applicator caught my attention, too. Lilash has a typical, eyeliner brush which easily spreads the clear serum on the eyelids. Too bad the brush isn’t gentle. It’s stiff and if you’re not careful, you may get the eye irritation. You need to be cautious. When it comes to applicators, I think Nanolash has the best brush. That’s why I keep using it.

I started testing the product when my friend was still in town.

Using the occasion, I showed her how to apply this type of products. She was going to buy her first one. With Lilash example, I told her to apply the serum with the brush just to the lash line. She agreed it was very simple. Just like applying an eyeliner – I keep repeating that. I mentioned the everyday application and a must-do makeup removal. Standard routine. No unpleasant surprises.

I don’t know much about the ingredients of Lilash because there’s little info on the website or in the leaflet. The details say it’s the magic of Lilash which gives effects. It’s supposed to work wonders with eyelashes so that people ask if your lashes are natural or false. Promises that can’t be fulfilled. Describing LiLash as the most popular serum is too much. Nanolash or Revitalash are the most frequently chosen and distributed worldwide. It’s hard to find more reviews of LiLash.

The regular use of Lilash delivers very few effects. The definition of the natural beauty of lashes isn’t spectacular. The brand promises you’re going to forget about the existence of falsies. Yeah. I wish. I’ve seen mixed reviews. Lots of girls are in love with the serum and show amazing effects on photos. Others, like me, are disappointed. So the problem with poor results isn’t just mine.

Why I recommend it?

This lash serum has a nice and small tube.
The bottle is of high quality and doesn’t get damaged.
Lilash serum may make natural lashes much longer.
The application is very simple and typical to eyelash serums.

Why I don’t recommend it?

The serum works yet not as spectacularly as promised.
You can irritate the eyes with the stiff brush.

IDOLLASH growth serum

Somewhere in the middle of my lash care adventure I ordered IdolLash serum. Back then, it was quite an expense for me but I fell for the advert. The banner promise said I can have beautiful lashes like a celebrity in just a few weeks. I didn’t realize how exaggerated it was. The model really has pretty lashes and I wanted to have the same and got tempted. IdolLash serum got into my beauty case.

The design of IdolLash isn’t that bad. I always pay attention to the quality of packaging which usually reflects the quality of the product. The sweet and glittery website looks comic but the serum looks decent. IdolLash is packed in a blue tube with white writing. It’s solid. The writing and color don’t fade even after a long time. Shortly put, the bottle gets a plus.

A standard application. Describing it again seems pointless. IdolLash growth serum is equipped with a thin brush for an easy application of the product to the lash line. It’s used like an eyeliner. If you’re good at applying an eyeliner, like me, you won’t have any problems. There’s one bad thing about the applicator. A poor-quality brush started losing bristles after a few weeks. It might have been a manufacturing defect, though.

I applied IdolLash systematically every day and really did my best to be regular.

I already had some experience with the use of such eyelash care products. My face skin was perfectly clean every evening. The eye area is the most important. One application a day is enough for good effects, at least that’s what the manufacturer promises. No objections to the application itself.

I pinned hopes on the product’s formula. I read all details on the product’s website, finding that IdolLash has a very rich composition. Lots of natural nutrients – camomile, honey and algae extract, coconut oil and keratin. Additionally, there’s a complex of active ingredients – polypeptides, moisturising substances and proteins. A plus for the diversity of components and lack of harmful substances.

I didn’t get spectacular results that I’d been expecting. The first week was fine and the serum was nice to apply. During the second week, my eyes felt a bit dry so I bought some eye drops and I didn’t care much. It happens… e.g. after an all-night party. I had no idea that lash serums could cause allergic reactions. I had experienced the dry eye sensation before.

Why I recommend it?

IdolLash growth serum comes in an elegant and handy packaging.
The product is easy to apply with a thin brush.
One daily application is enough to get the effects.
IdolLash has rich ingredients, including a full set of active substances.

RAPIDLASH eyelash and eyebrow enhancing serum

I used Rapidlash serum after a few fails with improving the lash condition. Other brands failed. I found out about Rapidlash on a beauty forum and decided to give it a try. It’s a lash lengthening and enhancing serum. I hoped for improving the condition of my lashes which were destroyed after wearing falsies.

The serum didn’t steal my heart at first sight but the design isn’t the key thing. Effects matter the most. Rapidlash serum is housed in a silver matte bottle – shorter and wider than other serum tubes. There’s a logo, product’s name and the clear name of the patented ingredient.

After a few weeks, the writing started rubbing off.

Let’s move on to the key facts. The application method is crucial. The serum comes with a thin and plastic brush for spreading the product onto the upper lash line. I always did it following the directions on the label – applied to the clean skin after removing makeup and just once a day. When I saw no effects, the serum started landing on my eyelids in the morning and evening. Still every day. The application is easy and typical to lash serums. Just remember about regularity but it shouldn’t be a problem. Using Nanolash (my fave, I recommend reading its review, too) now, I must remember about it, too.

A set of active ingredients is responsible for the action of Rapidlash. Polypeptides – essential amino acids – play the first fiddle, delivering the protection and regeneration. The polypeptide active substance has been patented by Rapidlash. It’s known as Promaxyl. It’s been enriched with panthenol, biotin, moisturising ingredients, soy oil and pumpkin seed extract. A truly nice composition, that’s for sure.

Sadly, Rapidlash enhancing serum isn’t really effective. It didn’t work on my weak lashes. Maybe some people like the effects but the serum didn’t convince me. No wonder I replaced Rapidlash with a much better Nanolash serum. The difference is striking. I saw a slight change in the lash appearance after 8-9 weeks of using Rapidlash. The effect wasn’t satisfactory.

I had a problem with gaps in the lash line. Rapidlash strengthens the eyelashes and that’s it. The serum failed to stimulate growth. My lashes, which didn’t fall out with extensions, didn’t get longer with this product. No new lashes grew. Generally speaking, Rapidlash effects were totally disappointing. I hoped for great results without some strange active ingredients. It turned out I needed a stronger product. If you’re not so demanding, Rapidlash might work for you.

I’m glad I came across Nanolash at some point of my lash growth serum adventure. It’s the best product I’ve had a chance to test. It’s cheaper than Rapidlash which is the best thing. To me, the price of the ineffective Rapidlash is inadequate to the results. It’s my opinion and the serum may work in a different way for each of you. Rapidlash let me down. What a pity…

LATISSE eyelash and eyebrow growth serum

Latisse lash growth drops rank second in my comparison reviews. I placed them right behind my favorite Nanolash. They aren’t as good but they fulfil the manufacturer’s promises. Since I discovered Nanolash, I haven’t been using Latisse often. Why? There’s just one reason. My favorite ensures faster application and effects. Still, Latisse is among my fave lash enhancers. It’s an effective lash care product.

It’s mostly the packaging what makes Latisse different from other lash and brow growth serums. The product is available exclusively in form of 3ml drops. One bottle comes with 60 disposable applicators. At first, I didn’t like those stiff spatulas which were just single-use. An eyeliner-like application is much comfier and the brushes don’t irritate the skin that much. Still, you can get used to it after some time. It pays off because Latisse gave me the effects I expected.

When it comes to the application, Latisse isn’t much different (despite the form). It’s applied to the lash line with a spatula. The treatment should last around two months. The manufacturer reminds that irregular use doesn’t bring effects. If you stop the treatment, your lashes go back to the previous state. Make sure you spread the serum just to the upper lash line. On the label, I read some warnings about the eye redness and itching but I haven’t experienced any side effects. Obviously, my eyes and lash serums like each other.

Allergan is the manufacturer of Latisse lash growth serum.

I found info that it’s the same brand which produces Lumigan eye drops for treating glaucoma. It’s been discovered that faster lash growth is one of the effects delivered by the drops. It’s thanks to bimatoprost. The ingredient has been included in the lash serum for stimulating growth. Latisse is the first eyelash serum which has been approved by FDA, which means it’s an effective eyelash extension product. You can use it without much concern about unwanted side effects. Just make sure the serum doesn’t get into your eyes. I think every reasonable person knows it well.

I told you about the product’s application and genesis. Now – the effects. You can use Latisse serum both for the lashes and brows. Other serums work this way, too, but it’s clearly indicated in case of Latisse. I always have to pluck my brows so I don’t see the point in applying the serum to the eyebrows. I don’t want them to keep growing. On the other hand, my lashes definitely needed a nourishing boost from within and it was delivered by the serum. Latisse makes lashes stronger and longer. It’s a good reason for me to buy this product. Or medication. I’m not sure how to call it.

Let me tell you about one more thing. I must mention the price of Latisse serum. The price is fixed at the online drugstore where I got it and it costs a lot there. I’m ready to pay a lot for eyelash care products but I’m aware that many girls save long months to get even cheaper products. Latisse growth serum might cost too much for some of them. I take that into consideration.

Regular use gives good results without side effects.
Latisse has an original formula.
One-off, hygienic spatulas are used for the application.
Only regular use brings effects.

It’s one of the best lash serums I had a chance to use and I’d probably still be using it if my beloved Nanolash didn’t exist. There are a couple of reasons why I loved this well-composed lash serum. One of them is great result you get with regular application of Lashcode Serum. If someone cares for healthy brows (like I do), they should surely try Lashcode Eyelash Serum. Let me explain why I rank it so high.

Firstly, let’s talk through the packaging. Though it’s not the most important thing, I know very well that we all like nice-looking cosmetics. Lashcode Eyelash Serum hands down has a lovely design. Both the box and the tube are tasteful as well as solid. High-quality materials guarantee the serum doesn’t spill when you travel with it, for example. A bigger size of Lashcode Eyelash Serum is surely a plus – we can enjoy flawless lashes for long months.

I started using Lashcode after a couple of failed lash treatments; I didn’t take any breaks between different products but I know the manufacturer recommends a two-week break so lashes can rest. Once you start using Lashcode, you need to remember to apply it every day in the PM. Day-to-day application isn’t at all troublesome and it took me literally a few seconds. One brushstroke for each eye. I’m sure everyone can handle it, plus it’s easier thanks to a very convenient applicator – a precision, soft-bristle brush adjusted to the eye shape. I really had no problems when applying Lashcode Eyelash Serum.

The ingredients deserve a paragraph too. The composition in Lashcode Serum is great. Generally, I think that everything about Lashcode is well-designed. The formula is mostly made up of natural moisturizing substances (so-called humectants) as well as what’s most crucial in lash serum: eyelash growth-accelerating ingredients. I must stress that Lashcode Eyelash Serum is free from parabens, artificial colorants, aromas and all substances that left my eyes irritated in other serums. I didn’t experience the unwanted reaction in this case but I must say that this enhancer needs slightly more time to give results in comparison to Nanolash.

It’s time for the most essential thing: summing up the effects, that is how Lashcode Eyelash Serum works. I must warn you that I’ll be overenthusiastic about it because this is a really great product. Hands down it won’t deliver effect of fake lashes, incredibly long and full. The effect I got during a several-month treatment was stronger lashes that don’t fall out as they used to, more elastic, darker and shiny eyelashes. After 2 weeks or so my lashes were longer and thicker so they look way better. I had an impression their number doubled. I really loved the look!

Last of all, I need to add that Lashcode isn’t pricey and I believe it to be good value for money. Of course there are better products (Nanolash for example) but tbh there are very few things I could pick on. Not only does it last very long (I used one tube for 5 months!) but also has a great conditioning effect. If you don’t expect miracles but simply want effectiveness, I heartily recommend Lashcode Eyelash Serum. I like to go back to this serum at times.

My favorite that I apply regularly. I love simply everything about Nanolash serum. Starting with the packaging and finishing with the effects. Only Nanolash brought such spectacular effects.
